Returns and Exchanges

Step Ahead Shoes Online is happy to offer customers an exchange or refund for items purchased online within 14 days from the date received. If you elect to receive a refund, a $9.00 return handling fee will be deducted from the refund amount.

Please note there are no refunds on sale items. If you are unable to find a replacement pair, you will be entitled to a credit note valid for 12 months.

When returning shoes, please ensure that the shoes and the shoe box are returned undamaged and in their original conditions. All shoes must be tried on a carpeted surface.

Please note we now offer free returns Australia wide for orders over $200.*

* The following exceptions apply to free returns: 1. No free returns from outside metropolitan areas. 2. No free returns from PO Boxes. 3. Free returns are limited to one return only.

Instruction for a Refund or Exchange

If exchanging or returning, please email us at info@stepaheadshoes.com.au so we can arrange a courier for collection.

All deliveries are issued with a Step Ahead Online Store Returns Form. This must be completed and sent back with your return, along with your receipt to:

Once the item(s) have been received and reviewed, you will either receive your new items (for exchange), or a refund for the cost of the purchase. Refunds will be issued directly to the credit card used for the purchase. Email notification will be sent once the return has been processed.

All items purchased Online MUST be returned to Step Ahead Shoes Online for returns or exchanges. They will NOT be accepted in Step Ahead Shoes stores.
