Returns and Exchanges
Step Ahead Shoes online is happy to offer customers an exchange or refund for items purchased online within 14 days from the date received. We now offer free postage and free returns Australia wide*. A $9.00 return handling fee will be deducted from the refund amount when you use this service.
We understand that there are some issues such as sizing that can be difficult to get right online. Therefore, we have taken the fear out of buying online by offering you a replacement pair or your money back. The steps involved in returns are as follows:
The shoes and the shoe box must be returned undamaged and in original condition. All shoes must be tried on a carpeted surface.
* Please note the the following exceptions: 1. There are no refunds on sale items. If you can not find a replacement pair you are entitled to a credit note for a 12 month period. 2. No free returns from remote or rural areas. 3. No free returns from PO Box.

If exchanging or returning, please email us at email@example.com so we can arrange a courier for collection.
All deliveries are issued with a Step Ahead Online Store Returns Form. This must be completed and sent back with your return, along with your receipt to:

Once the item(s) have been received and reviewed, you will either receive your new items (for exchange), or a refund for the cost of the purchase. Refunds will be issued directly to the credit card used for the purchase. Email notification will be sent once the return has been processed.
All items purchased Online MUST be returned to Step Ahead Shoes Online for returns or exchanges. They will NOT be accepted in Step Ahead Shoes stores.
